Last day in the studio with #SSS was a… SucceSS. Sufjan and I still have some work to do together in New York, but the next time we’ll all be in the same room together will be early 2014. I won’t miss the smell of Axe Body Spray in my studio, but I miss you already, Geti. You, too, Steve.
Is there any chance that Sufjan will get around to releasing the Crooked River documentary? Is there even a single human being that has it?
It’s Kaleo La Belle’s movie, so it’s not up to him to release. There was some talk about it being released around 2010-2011, but Sufjan expressed in an interview (I can’t find it; I think it was taken down) that he’d rather not have it released. After that, the trailer that Kaleo’s production company put up on youtube was made private. So, it’s probably not going to see the light of day. But we’ll always have these glorious five minutes.

Some lovely person (with presumably very strong arms) has recently uploaded entire concerts to youtube. Posting them up here as a bookmark so I can go back and look at them in full when I have more time.
ETA: You can also watched this and the second night here, cut up into individual videos of the songs.
